ALERT: We Are Entering the Spooky Season

We’re writing to officially invite you to the annual Halloween Open Mic on campus. Miracle Monocle will be partnering with the University Writing Center to bring you a festive celebration on the Thursday before Halloween.

All attendees are welcome to read a short piece (though lurking is also approved) and costumes are encouraged (though not required). We’ll be tarot readings, fortune-telling sessions, and much more. Here are the details:

This is a great chance to rub elbows with other writerly types and have a bit of candy-corn-infused fun; it’s also an opportunity to learn more about Miracle Monocle, The White Squirrel, and other local literary groups.
